We have scheduled the first drop-in collage evening at the ArtSpace at TaborSpace. You can bring your stuff and your imagination and spend an evening creating with other Portland Collage Artists Guild members.
The ArtSpace will be open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10. Christian Messer has very kindly offered to be there to host the evening. We will have some supplies to share, and if you have anything you would like to donate or share with the group, please bring it along. Feel free to drop in at any time between 6 and 9.
The ArtSpace is on the second floor - go past Muir Hall, turn left and go up the stairs and through the double doors. The ArtSpace is down the hall on the left.
From originator, Judith Devine "We would like to bring together collage artists of all levels to create a supportive community for mutual inspiration and learning. Collage is a medium so wide-ranging and diverse that is often not taken seriously in the arts community; a situation that we would really like to change."
The Portland Mixed-Media Collage Guild is a group of artists working in a variety collage and assembláge techniques. Our mission is to share and inspire creativity in the collage arts. Each month there are presentations and demonstrations by our member volunteers. We also bring our own projects to work on and share with the group. This is an opportunity to network, meet new people and innovate.
Please join us! We would love your input! RSVP's are greatly appreciated.
We meet the first Saturday of each month at TaborSpace.
