An Evening with Ida Haendel! "One of the greatest violinists ever...!"

Join us Thursday, May 23 for An Evening with Ida Haendel!

An Evening with Ida Haendel
Thursday, May 23, 2013
7:30 pm
The Old Church
1422 SW 11th Avenue, Portland
Presented by 45th Parallel and All Classical Portland

In October of 2011, Greg Ewer and Adam LaMotte traveled to Miami, Florida on a pilgrimage of sorts. Their purpose was to meet and learn from one of the greatest violinists ever to grace the stage, the legendary Ida Haendel. A year and a half later, Ms. Haendel is coming to Portland for a special, one-night only evening of music, discussion and reminiscence. She will perform works by her teacher George Enescu, Ernest Bloch, Robert Schumann and more. Join us for what promises to be a memorable evening!

Tickets $25 adult, $20 seniors/students

Purchase tickets online www.45thparallelpdx.org
or at the door on the evening of the performance.

It was an interesting experience. Wished there would have been less talk and more music......
