45th Parallel DYNAMIC DUO Sarah Kwak and Cary Lewis at The Old Church!

Let's get there at 7:00 (concert starts at 7:30). PLEASE note the suggested time to meet -- 7:00. We can easily find each other and sit together, and also socialize a bit before it gets too crowded.

Oregon Symphony Concertmaster Sarah Kwak and the ubiquitously awesome Cary Lewis will be kicking off 45th Parallel's 2013/2014 season on September 15 with a recital. The program will include works for violin and piano by Strauss, Stravinsky, Prokofiev and more.

Visit http://www.45thparallelpdx.org/ to purchase tickets. Note: General Admission seating.

Senior/Student $20.00 ($21.69 w/service fee)
General $25.00 ($26.87 w/service fee)

I highly recommend you purchase your ticket(s) online before you RSVP "yes" for this event. Or, if you want to take the risk, just show up and try to purchase your ticket(s) at the door.

45th Parallel, founded in 2009, produces and presents chamber music concerts featuring some of the most exciting musicians of the Pacific Northwest with occasional guest artists. Creative programming and intimate concert experiences are hallmarks of 45th Parallel, which endeavors to bring the Northwest's rich chamber music culture out of the living room and onto the stage. We have brought performers together from the Oregon Symphony, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and others, in some of the most talked-about musical evenings in Portland during the last few years. See our Musicians page for a complete list of past 45th Parallel performers.

Is there a meet-up arranged for Lang-Lang's performance with the Oregon Symphony? Where and what time?
