:::Kin Council::: Every 3rd Tuesday of the month ♥
In order to meet the challenges of our time, we are offering the Kin Council, sharing life experience within a council format.
There is a great need for multi-generational dialogue and Kin Council features elders of our community, addressing issues that arise, answering questions, and offering wisdom.
This is ultimately a core practice for building healthy community.
This Gathering is a time of story, reflection and connection. Each month we will form a circle where we share tea, our hearts and time for group reflection. Coming together formally, will invite group members to bring their own situation or dilemma to the circle for consultation and discussion.
Confidentiality is paramount.
In this way we are intentional in building a community that shares its stories and walks together in our struggles, triumphs, challenges and opportunities. We do this to come out of isolation, connect our story with other stories, and to begin to imagine how we can build power to act for the common good.
La . . .
What matters most to me is learning how to live and sharing the process with others. My inquiry into what life is and how it works, fuels my spiritual path of Art, Medicine and Visionary Community. And these pursuits fuel in turn, my Spirit unfolding. I believe that this quest is something we all share however varied our approach.
I work as a creative inspirer helping people access transformation, and move past blocks. I have experience with some simple rituals containers for purposes of healing, giving personal counsel, and mediation for conflict.
As we each reach out to touch the world, questioning the way things have been done, we must also reach within to question our own assumptions and to commune with the Mystery.
Steve . . .
My name is Steve and for the past 32 years my focus has been creative education. From local, state and national venues, I have participated in creating change that removes roadblocks to personal and professional growth. However, I feel the highest degree of satisfaction during individual experiences; when I am able to assist a person in grasping and applying a complex concept. Growth toward spirit and community is where my heart is now focused. As such, the growth and development of the young is a magnet for me.
I have been blessed to have had an opportunity to develop skills in the construction and transportation technologies throughout my life and look forward to sharing that knowledge as it applies to the growth of the community. To now apply learned leadership skills toward this vision is a dream come true. I am humbled and jubilant to be able to provide input and contribute toward the vision of our shared community.
