The last meetup was a great success despite not knowing how many folks would turn up after waiting nearly 2 years for this event to happen. Tayler hosted an awesome game of Carolina Death Crawl, there was a great deal of pint quaffing and new friendships were born! I'll post here during the course of the week about when the next meetup will be and what games will be on the table.

    January 4, 2014

    • Tayler

That booth appears to be empty?

  • Benjamin B.

Sorry, work stuck me with a pile that needs sorted out before Monday... Dammit.

    January 3, 2014

    • Jay S.

Ah sorry you can't make it.

Right now I'm planning on attending. I'm going to bring Carolina Death Crawl! It's a quick playing easy learning Southern Gothic "horror" rpg by the designer of Fiasco. It's a malevolently good time!

Here is what the website has to say:
CAROLINA DEATH CRAWL is a swampy, Southern Gothic roleplaying card game for three or more players. At the height of the American Civil War, your characters have been abandoned deep behind Confederate lines. Can they fight their way through enemy territory and treacherous terrain back to safety? For all but one, the answer is “no!”, but the dark story you tell in trying will be memorable and thrilling. Fun and competitive, CAROLINA DEATH CRAWL gives you all the history you need—you supply the desperation, depravity, and destruction.

Sounds pretty cool! Would folks be interested in Fiasco, or some other indie RPG?

    January 1, 2014

    • Jay S.

Never played it, but I'd be willing to learn :)

      1 · January 2, 2014

  • Nate C.

    Pathfinder, 2nd Ed., 3.5 or 4th Ed?

    December 29, 2013

  • Jay S.

I'll be there with my +1 and we'll have our Magic decks on the table if anybody's in the mood for playing/learning The Gathering. Excited to meet some fellow gamers and drink some pints!
Benjamin & PortlandPrivateer, your games sound great. By all means bring anything you think could be fun and are willing to teach to possible beginners :)
Should I reserve a table or something?

Righty-o! I've also gotten my copy of Super Fight (5/6 expansions), and the creator of Cards Against Humanity has said it's better than his game! :o

Is it wheelchair accessible? If so, great!!! Count me in.

    December 29, 2013

    • Jay S.

It does have wheelchair access. Looking forward to seeing you there!

In the RPG theme, I have Descent (v1), Claustrophobia, Super Dungeon Explore, and Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards (rps card game done Ren & Stimpy or Tenacious D style)

  • PortlandPrivateer

I could always bring Thunderstone. It scratches the RPG itch a little, finishes in about 90 minutes, and has great replayability. Let me know.

The date and time I've posted are just suggestions, so please respond if you've RSVP'd and this works for you. Also any GMs interested in putting something together for the night?

Is this thing ever actually going to happen? 'Cause I'd love it if it did.

    October 13, 2012

  • Jake

Anyone into Heroclix? I wouldn't mind hosting a game and teaching people how to play. I'd also be interested in playing any other games if and when this meetup happens.

    July 16, 2012

  • Jon B.

I'm interested in RPGs as well. Unless anyone has any more info, maybe we should just choose a night and start drinking and gaming!

    1 · July 16, 2012

  • Michael

Did this ever get off the ground? I'd be in favor of the RPG side of things, not so much in Magic.

    July 10, 2012

  • Brennan

Hey who posted this originally? Do we have a contact for Rogue Brewery? I'd be happy to get this put together more if need be.

I'd be 'game' for the RPG night, depending on the evening. Haven't played something that wasn't online since my Fantasy Trip days

    April 9, 2012

  • John

I will come depending upon the time and day. I'd love to game with some new people :)
