Playtest D&D NEXT

New players very welcome - create characters at the table or bring your own! Combat takes place on a grid with tokens or miniatures - bring one to represent your character or choose from my token kit.
Combat seems more dangerous in D&D NEXT than 4th edition. If you're coming to NEXT from 4e, imagine a level 1 4e character is a level 3 NEXT character, in terms of combat ability. Things that wouldn't phase a starting 4e character can be deadly if you approach them the wrong way.

I could probably provide all this, but it'd be good to have: pencil, scratch paper, dice, a blank or filled out character sheet from the playtest, and a mini for your character if you have one you want to use.
