Ok, ok, ok, let's do a short, easy one.... actually that would be good after the hike on Friday!
Dry Creek Falls is one of the lesser known water falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Although the name would seem to indicate that at some point there's no water, that is never true. The hike to it starts from the Bridge of the Gods trailhead and takes the PCT going south, just before the PCT turns to go up towards Benson Plateau, we'll veer off towards the waterfall where we'll stop for snacks and pictures before heading back.

This hike is a bit over 4 miles with an elevation gain of about 600'. Under our rating system that is Moderate with a hike time between 2 and 3 hours.

What to bring:
- Good hiking shoes
- Hat & Sunscreen
- Water and Snacks
- Gas money for drivers

Dogs are OK on this hike

Address was wrong for Gateway Transit Center--by the time I found it, you'd left.

How far is this one from Portland? What I'm really asking is, what is the ETA back at Gateway?

I live in Damascus, so I sometimes meet at the trailhead. As I am bringing my dog, I will drive. Is there someone (or two) who want to meet me between Damascus and the Bridge of The Gods. I come up through Boring and Troutdale.

I just hiked up Ecola Park in Cannon Beach last Saturday. It was a 6+mile and elevation gain of 800ft. This trail seems comparable and I look forward to it, even if it is just my partner and I. Thank you for the information!

Scott, that's a matter of presonal preference. I set the group size with what I'm comfortable with

Out of curiosity, why is there a cap of 20 people for the hike?
