HIKE DESCRIPTION: This popular portion of the Salmon River Trail begins with a riverside stroll among huge old growth trees. At 2 miles, the path leaves the river and climbs to a bluff with a view of the Salmon River’s rugged upper canyon, where inaccessible waterfalls roar below.
The group may go out for food and beverages after the hike.
Please note that there is a MANUAL waiting list for this hike. What this means is that if a spot opens up everyone on the waiting list will automatically receive an e-mail notifying them of the opening. The first person to log in and RSVP, whether on the waiting list or not, gets the spot.
