Have been asked to change the name of this hike to reflect where we went but the site won't let me:( For those of you wondering, we did the Harry's Ridge hike on the Northern side of Mt. St. Helens. 8.4 miles.

There's nothing like the view of the crater and Adams and Hood from Harry's Ridge on a sunny day. And Jessica is a great team leader!

we meet in the SE corner of the garage - look for the big group of people and ask them if they are with Meetup Mystery hike (there may be a few hikes leaving with other groups at the same time). I'm in a gray Ford Escape and will park on 99th in between the parking garage and Fred Meyer's

I've never been to Gateway. Is there a specific place in the parking lot to meet? I can see myself driving around in a stupor.

Also, there may be some berries left where we are going, so bring a tupperware if you want to pick some

Sounds like Karl will drive - will need one more driver, assuming Karl can take 3 passengers and I can fit 4 passengers into mine.

Also, I will need 3-4 additional drivers depending on seating. Also, will need 3-4 Northwest Forest Passes. Please bring yours, even if you do not intend to drive. Also, no dogs on this trip - sorry! Thanks!

FYI, the driving mileage is 220 miles round trip, so the suggested donation to drivers is $22 per person or 10 cents per mile. Also, the forecast is for sunny and high 60's but be prepared for changing mountain conditions: bring a a few warm layers in addition to gloves, hat, and rain shell. We will hike between 8 adn 10 miles depending on our timing of getting to the trail head. Plan to be back in town by 5:15pm. We will maintain a 2mph pace. Should be a great day!
