Tim, Thanks for organizing the hike tonight. And, what's a little rain to those of us fortunate enough to live here?

Sometimes you have to make a sacrifice to the weather gods to get all those great sunny Oregon days later in the season, my thanks to all those that came out and made the sacrifice with me. Go Blazers. here is a link to the westside regional trail for those interested in other walking options in the area. http://www.thprd.org/bondprojects/project.cfm/27/WestsideTrail/

My Achilles began bothering me this morning, and I started feeling pain later while walking some hills. Have a fun walk this afternoon!

Looks like a potential for wet weather, so just a reminder, no cotton, definately no denim jeans. Cotton when wet draws heat away from your body faster than no clothes. It's a good habit to get into.

I'd like to do this hike sometime but without going at such a clip. I've never been to Cooper Mtn. before and would like to take it in without moving quite so quickly. Also, I'm not in the best form ever at this point and wouldn't want to hold the group up. I'll watch for holes in the easy or easy-moderate range. ..

Holes? Darn the auto-correct feature on my smartphone! Of course I meant hikes!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
