We will start at the Cloud Cap campground and hike 1.5 miles to the stone shelter gaining about 800' elevation. There we will set up camp and watch an awesome sun set. There is water somewhat close to the camp site, you may want to filter. (I will bring one to share). I will get up early (this is optional for you) and watch the sun rise. The hike Sunday up to Tie in Rock is the highest trail on Mt. Hood gaining about 2000' over 2.5 miles, this is done with only our day packs.
