Undisputedly Funny w/ Debbie Wooten. A SATURDAY Night of Stand Up Comedy!

Here is a show I am especially excited about!  Fellow Laughaholic and creator of Status Dropout Entertainment, Scott Von Wald, has put together a lineup that includes two of my favorite local Comics and a Headliner out of Tacoma, Washington that has a reputation for, "Tearing the roof off," wherever she performs.

Confidential to PDX Comedy Fans: Scott also tells me that she is the only Comic that he has ever rooted for to beat him in a National Comedy competition.  She took first place in said contest.  (Shades of Laughs All-Star Comedy Competition, 2008)

Here is more information on the show and its performers from the event's Facebook invite:

Live Stand-Up Comedy is back at Undefeated Sports Bar with a rare Saturday Evening showing!

This month, we have 2 of the fastest-rising stars in Portland Comedy, Adam Pasi, and Nariko Ott. Our hilariously irreverent Host, Scott Von Wald, will be leading the festivities.

As if that is not enough, we've got a special out-of-town treat coming in to Headline...
The one-and-only Debbie Wooten!

Debbie Wooten has been doing Comedy for over twenty years, helping people from coast to coast get their laugh on. She has brought her Comedy show, 'From My Heart and My Uterus, the Only Thing I Know' to audiences all over the country.

Discovered by Comedian Sinbad at a local competition, Debbie has been bringing deep belly laughs ever since. She has performed with a host of Comedy greats including Jamie Fox, Joe Tory, Louie Anderson, and many more. She has won several national Comedy competitions and appeared on Nick at Nite's America's Funny Moms.

Debbie Wooten has just finished starring in her first feature-length film, 'The Pony Man.' Known by many as the Diva of Comedy, her in-your-face comedy style will have you rolling on the floor.

Debbie was born in South Chicago with Spina Bifida, and developed Polio as an infant. Isolated by color and disability, Debbie met the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. when she was eight years old, an experience that changed her life. Debbie uses her life struggles and triumphs in her comedic and inspirational presentation to captivate the room with charm, love and knowledge.

This show is $7 at the door, $5 advance and is 21 and over with valid ID.
See you there!

Dang, this sounds like a good one but too bad I already made plans. Hopefully the next one will work out.
