Please identify and briefly describe a Portland landmark. Answer required to stop spammers.

Big Pink rises from the western shore of the Willamette like a benign cobra, devouring office workers by day and returning them to their homes and families by night. Could a spambot make up something so weird?

Can you describe a powerful dream or OBE you've had. Please do, if so.

First OOBE ever, age 8: Awoke from a powerful dream to a strange, dark morning - streetlights still on outside. Got out of bed, turned on lights, went to bathroom. When I got back to bed, I was still in it. Disorientation, paralysis, golden light, struggling to break back into "waking." When the spell broke, everything was as I had experienced it except the bedroom light was still off and my bladder was full. This experience, the first of thousands, shaped my life.

Why have you joined this group? What's your area of interest?

I loved my OOBE/lucid dream life but for the last 20+ years these experiences have diminished. I would love to share with a sympathetic group and allow my dream consciousness to flower again. For years, living in the SF Bay Area, I worked with Jeremy Taylor in various dream groups and dream-based experiences. Since moving to Portland 2 years ago I've been wanting to participate in a dream group. Professionally, I am a biophysicist and my core area of interest is the deep structure of human consciousness. My work in cellular biology and quantum physics have combined to reveal a remarkable architecture of pre-neural information processing that links the personal with the archetypal. Dreaming is a direct and often joyful experience of this fusion.

Introduction

I swam in a world of OOBEs and lucid dreams from age 8 until my 30s, having (and often journaling) thousands of them. For 20 years these experiences have been few and far between and I would love to connect with a group of conscious dreamers.
