Super Mario Bros. In HeckleVision

This ain’t no game – but is it really a movie? One of the biggest video games of all time demanded a movie adaptation, and in 1993, audiences got something entirely unexpected: Super Mario Bros. – The Movie!

Plumbers and brothers Mario (Bob Hoskins) and Luigi (John Leguizamo) think their biggest problem is an aggressive construction company, but when they stumble upon an inter-dimensional portal, they discover a world where dinosaurs rule the Earth – 65 million years after the cataclysmic meteorite strike. Now their mission is to dislodge the evil King Kooopa (Dennis Hopper), rescue Luigi’s love Daisy and keep two conflicting worlds from merging. Can they power up, or will it all be a bad mushroom trip?

This special screening is presented in HECKLEVISION: Through the magic of MuVChat technology, your jokes, heckles and commentary are encouraged – in TEXT form! Tap out your wittiest wisecracks with your phone and they’ll appear instantly on screen! Each month, special guests will hang out to crack jokes via text with you and a few hundred of your best friends!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
