Oregon Symphony Waterfront Concert & Firework is Back!

Oregon Symphony in the Neighborhoods  Waterfront Concert   Begins this year at 2:30 pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 AT Tom McCall Waterfront Park
1020 Naito Pkwy

The Waterfront Concert is back—bigger and better than ever before! Special thanks to Mayor Charlie Hales and all the City Commissioners for  their partnership and funding. Thanks to them we’ve expanded the popular free  concert to include performances by many of Portland’s finest musical  organizations.

This 18th Waterfront Concert begins at  2:30 pm and launches the Oregon Symphony season.   No tickets are required. Bring low-profile chairs or blankets for lawn  seating, a little something to eat and sit back and enjoy!

I just love how we ended this summer with such brachial gathering of so many families from all over my town of Portland, from the north, the NE,SE, & NW! We got there right after 7:30 pm and found the perfect spot for our night of Classical Symphony and a touched of Opera and ballet with our picnic basket of wine, cheese, bread and fruits!
I cried as the Oregon Symphony played my favorites composer, Tchaikovsky! They we all starred and cheered as the Fireworks lighted our cleared summer's sky! New friends and memories were made again tonight! I'm sorry.I missed most of you, but I.hope you all had a wonderful time!

So I'm happy if you are enjoying this evening that I have been looking foteard to and may miss it all together. Due to lack of respect on my friend pat.

Have a HAPPY Labor Fay Holifay!

I am so happy that the city decided to put back our final summer waterfront Symphony concert and end with firework!

Since we did not received positive RSVP for our Host Picnic event in the park, I decided not to host this event and open to all.

This is a very popular event for the end of summer. So, I would try to be there early with your blanket and chairs. The Music will be spectacular! I always cried!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
