Describe how proficient you are in Russian language.

While I don't speak at the level of a native speaker by any stretch of the imagination, я достаточно хорошо говорю по-русски, чтобы участвовать в разговорах по ежедневным предметам.

Name your favorite Russian cultural figures

I've always been interested by the history of espionage during the Cold War, so I'll go with Oleg Kalugin (бывший КГБшник).

If you were asked "kak d'ela?" would you answer, "xhorosho," "ploxho," or "normalno," and why?

Зависит от того, как я себя чувствую, но обычно "нормально".

Which do you like better: voyna or mir? Pr'edstupl'eniey or nakazaniye?

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't read Война и мир, so I have to go with Преступление и наказание.

What's your best day to meet? Once per week or per two weeks?

I'm flexible with regards to the day of the week. Every 2-3 weeks would work for me.

I recently moved to Portland from New York and would love to practice my rusty Russian with fellow Russophiles.
