A place I (and others can) post other permaculture-related events...

Here's a good first one: Green Living Project, a cool organization that creates awareness about sustainability projects around the world, is having a party and showcase to celebrate their collection of the best global and domestic sustainability films. It'll be a part of the ReDirect Guide's Better Living Show, which is a worthwhile event, if you've never been before.

Sounds wonderful but I will be out of town that weekend. Anyone want to get together and share their experience of the weekend afterward?

The Living Building Collaborative will be hosting a very exciting regional event on Oct. 17 (tonight!). Multiple cities will be joining in via video conference, and we’ll kick off the evening with presentations from Urban Ag experts out of Seattle, San Francisco and Georgia. Branches in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver B.C., and multiple locations in Alaska will all join in on a virtual design session, brainstorming urban agriculture design solutions for the Pike Motorworks project in Seattle’s Capitol Hill.

Details for the event are on the Cascadia site: http://living-future.....

If you’d like to attend, please RSVP on Eventbrite (coming soon to the post) so we can get a count on food/drinks for the evening.

Hope you can make it, and please feel free to pass the event info along to anyone who may be interested. The more the merrier.
