***Here is the latest from the producer, Wanda Bertram:
Hi Janet - my apologies for not sending along these details sooner!
We're hosting the interview at 3:00 p.m. on the 6th, at the Japanese American Historical Plaza in the Tom McCall Waterfront Park (close to NW Couch St. and NW Naito Pkwy). We'll be around until 6:00 p.m., so if you wanted you could come by and have a dinner meetup afterwards. :)
Thanks so much for your interest, hope to see you there!
My name is Gisella, and I'm the director for a documentary called A Brief History of Time Travel, currently in production in Seattle and Portland. Given our common interests in TV and movies, I'm reaching out to ask if anyone you know is interested in being part of the documentary.
Our film focuses on why time travel remains such a compelling idea for fans across disciplines, and how popular culture and theoretical physics research have worked together to change the ways we think about time. (You're welcome to watch the trailer at bit.ly/1tRkZTn.) On August 6th, we're coming to Portland to interview local sci fi fans about their thoughts on time traveling. We'd love to meet you guys and hear your thoughts and stories!
Please let me know if you or anyone you know is interested, and I'll provide more details about location. We are also getting ready to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to finish the film, and are currently reaching out to fans for support. I appreciate your taking the time to learn about the film and spread the word to interested folks!
