Portland Ski and Showboard show

I met quite a few people that were new to the area and thought maybe this would be a great event for us all to go, either as a group or at least check out alone. for those that want to go as a group we can meet and carpool (which I suggest as parking is like $8 per car)

Admission: Adults. . . $13- *** Juniors (6-12) $3- *** Under 6 FREE

Register and get a Coupon for $2.00 OFF & Kids FREE

for those that want to go it alone or with other friends the expo goes for 3 days

Anyone else get a Fusion pass like myself? I had a Meadows pass 2 years ago and a ski bowl night pass last year.

I and my friend Ken Snow have fusion passes. We will be headed out 212 in the mornings. We get up there about 9 am and hit the smooth stuff. Come back around 12:00. Ken has a van and gas help is always welcome. All welcome. Larger van if larger group.

so is there going to be any meeting before the event in some place or do we just meet over there?

Either winter tires or chains are required to get there during winter. Parking passes are sold upon arrival and last season they were $5 per day and $30-35 per season... And yes, there are organized trips trips to the mountain on weekends and during the week.. cheers

We're new to the area & plan to ski @ Mt. Hood Meadows. We have a AWD vehicle, will we need chains & do you need a park pass to park @ the Meadows or Timberline ? Does the group plan any day , week or weekend trips ? Looking forward to meeting other skiers.

Also I think there is a pretty good size Trimet parking lot at N Interstate and N Rosa Parks way--- Max stop right across the road from New seasons. I spotted this on Google earth. I think Max ticket $4-$5 for all day.

What exactly is this? Reading about it online (very vague), it sounds like it's just a way for vendors to take our money and sell us stuff. Paying $8 + 2x $13 seems like there is more I should know before dismissing the idea. I have all my own gear and I'm not looking for anything.

It's also your last chance to get season passes at the discount price.

These shows also have ski swap opportunities as well. High quality demo ski's/boards at pretty good prices. Negotiate pricing by asking if each booth will match another. Once a friend of mine got lucky and won a ski vacation to Bogus Basin. Jen has a nice coupon link above for discounts and what the show offers. And--There may be meet and greets with some pros, maybe a warren Miller showing or two..and finally possible beer garden. Cheers and let the snow begin.
