Portland Comprehensive Plan Workshop and Tour

The language below is from the organizers--who have asked that this be passed on to everyone you know! Please come and bring others!

If you’re interested in the future of Portland’s rivers, watersheds, trees and forests, we’d like to hear from you at this event created specifically for the environmental community and others who care about the health of the city’s natural resources.

Please join us at this Comprehensive Plan Update workshop to discuss environmental health and its relationship to transportation, urban design, green infrastructure and industrial lands. The workshop is an opportunity to give your input on how the update of the Comprehensive Plan can help Portland go even greener.

Thanks, Mary. Your information is informative. I would encourage everyone to learn about this plan. For me, it's exciting in so many ways and defines Portland and its future. It's our future. . . . I so enjoyed reading your blog.

Thanks so much Sue. I hope you will write a comment on my blog site as well. It's important to know that I'm getting through. town that will value what those working to restore the environment along our rivers want to see. We need to be writing about/blogging about and sharing via social media what companies like Toyota are doing (see my post on Portland River Plan: http://plangreen.net/...). We need to be recruiting more companies like Toyota! We all have a role.
