We will start from the Herman Creek Campground trail head, hiking up past the powerline road to Herman Camp. We go left here, which takes us to the Nick Eaton Ridge trail. We gain elevation rapidly on this very steep trail for 2 miles. Then it’s .6 mile to the Gorton Creek Trail intersection. At that point we will drop down to Indian Point for lunch at a sunny setting with tremendous views of the Gorge. We will return to the Gorton Creek Trail for the leisurely stroll back to the trail head.
Come prepared with the 10 essentials, lunch, appropriate clothing and a sense of humor.
