Mt Hood - Paradise Park Trail (16 miles; 3,800' gain; 5,800' peak)

This is an all day, stop-and-go ramble. Climb through three ecozones to the best south-side Mt. Hood alpine meadows at Paradise Park. Bring binoculars and cameras. Pace averages 1.5 mi/hr, including lots of breaks. Feel free to stop and photograph flowers, watch for birds, or track elk and coyote.

Wilderness area regulation restricts attendance to 12 heartbeats, so no dogs - that would be one less person.

Brewpub to follow.

Meet at 7:00 AM, back around 8:00 PM (Sunrise 6:15 AM Sunset 8:14 PM)

Is anyone by chance driving to the meet up spot from near northwest Portland and willing to give a car-less girl a ride? If not no worries I know the max is an option but just thought I'd check. Thanks! See you tomorrow

I'm thinking that's a long time to leave my pets. I could take 6 passengers in my Grand Caravan and provide a non-brewpub carpool option. Whadaya think?
