You still have a few hours to sign up for a fun Thanksgiving weekend. the NRCS SNOTEL web site shows 20" of snow at 5700 feet http://www3.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov/nwcc/sntl-data0000.jsp?site=651&days=7.
If you don't have skis or snowshoes, you can rent them at Government Camp--or just bring your laptop and plug in to the Mazama Lodge wifi. Or bring sewing, knitting, musical instrument--any of the projects you've been meaning to catch up on. The Lodge is an easy walk into Government Camp if you get bored.
Expect to find other simpatico souls who love the outdoors--and want to protect the planet. Call me at[masked] with any questions.
