France's Rhone River Valley is one of the world's greatest wine regions. From Chateaunuef-du-Pape, one of the world's most eminent wines named after the second home of his emminence in the south, to the sensuous Syrahs of Saint Joseph and Hermitage in the north, the Rhone exceeds expectations for excellence.
Come taste in the pleasant chill of the underground tasting room at Portland Wine Storage. Come and cool down!
Wines from the Northern Rhone are mainly Syrah only. Wines from the Southern Rhone are mainly GSM blends. GSM stands for Grenache-Syrah-Mourvedre.
Saint Joseph and Hermitage are most the famous wines of the North and Chateaunuef-du-Pape and CdR (Cotes du Rhone) are the most famous wines of the South.
Reward yourself, reach out and relish the richness of the Rhone.
