Just moved from a writer's wasteland (aka Waco, Tx) & wish I could find some way to balance demands of work, family, and writing without any of the three feeling neglected.

Are you joining because: A) you're curious, B) you have an interest in writing, C) social interaction, D) you want to learn techniques, E) you want to obtain feedback on your work, or F) you're interested in marketing or publishing your work?

*Etz Khayim* and the *Tanakh*. But that's not really a fair question since I tend to read a little of each - morning and evening. Robert Wright's *The Evolution of God* rises well above the rabble. Relatively recent runners-up include *The Looming Tower*, *Collapse*, and *The Life of Pi* (in actuality I listened to the unabridged audio book of this latter one a few years ago). More remote favorites are listed on my Facebook site.

How would you describe what you write (i.e. fiction, memoir, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?

I failed miserably at an attempt to publish non-fiction outside my specialty. Suspect the truth may be more expediently accessed via fiction. But haven't seriously embarked on fiction since high school.

What Bill B. is saying about this Meetup Group

An excellent group. It'd be difficult to imagine better. And, it seems to be continually improving.

I will be closing this meetup group soon. Don't use it enough to justify the dues. However, go to www.wacopaddleclub.shutterfly.com
and sign up. That is were I will be posting all of our activities. Feel free to contact me via email for more details.
