RSVP is for the couple. But if only one of you is available and you are interested, sign up anyway!
Treat yourself to childfree, brain-building science fun at OMSI After Dark! Check out live demos, a planetarium show, Science On a Sphere, SAMSON the T. rex, new featured exhibitions, and old favorites. Sample tasty snacks and sweets along with beer, wine, and craft soda, and talk to regional food and beverage artisans about the science behind them. The OMSI Market Cafe will be open with a special dinner menu and cash bars will also be available for those who want more than just a taste! It's geeks gone wild!
$10 for non members, free if you are an OMSI member. Purchase tickets at the door or online at http://www.omsi.edu/a....
There are addt'l exhibitions to buy tickets for: Private Lab: Edible Chemistry, Planetarium and OmniMax. They recommend buying tix early as they sell out. I don't know how we'd organize this since they are all at different times. We think the hands on food chemistry sounds fun. But if everyone isn't interested it would separate the group. Check out the website and RSVP for the event in general and email me suggestions about how we could manage this if people want to do the events.
The After Dark dinner menu looks good but we can decide once we are there where we want to eat or get drinks. We could eat at 6:00 then explore or eat after having fun. When you RSVP, indicate your preference. The majority will rule. :)
If you think you'll be late, email Sara Marinucci-Seevers and I'll give you my cell phone #.
21 and over ONLY - IDs required
We could do Dinner there or maybe meet up for a happy hour/dinner at a restaurant near by. Maybe Nosh on Seventh, Portobello, or Pizzicato?
