I thought you might appreciate seeing the following job offer from the Boston iPhone group. http://www.meetup.com/iphone/messages/boards/thread/9169011/
I'm looking for a talented iPad app programmer who can take design elements and create a stunning iPad app that incorporates both text and graphics. Interactivity and proper implementation of the accelerometers in the iPad is a must.
I will provide all design elements to be incorporated into the app, which will likely run between 40 and 60 pages of text/animation.
My current thinking is for the program to be built from Cocos2d and Chipmunk, but I'm open to other suggestions. Speed is of the essence, and this will need to be done fairly quickly after finding the right person. Ideally the developer will have illustration, game design, and/or a background in art as well as being up-to-speed on iPhone/iPad OS 4.0.
I'm based in Toronto, but I'm willing to consider people from anywhere. This certainly could be a paid job, but I'm really looking for someone interested in partnering. It's the perfect opportunity for someone eager to become part of something exciting and interested in helping build it.
I know that you all hear this type of pitch often, but I have a lot of professional credibility in my end of the business (I'm an established and successful screenwriter and producer) and I'm hoping to find someone who can add the technical magic to my creativity. You can learn more about me at www.mscbuys.com.
I can't say more about the specifics of the project, but if you saw Alice for the iPad and thought that looked like something you can and would like to do, then this is the project for you.
Please feel free to send resumes to jeff**AT**storygym.com. I appreciate all responses.
