There are a number of films that I would like to watch, but would rather do so with others rather than just on my own. I feel different views and discussion about the content of the film is helpful while it is still fresh on ones mind. I've recently seen Fresh and Skin Trade, and in a couple weeks there will be a showing of Bold Native before the Let Live Conference. There are other films I would like to see that may not make it to any showings though. Even if just one other person of the group wants to see a film please let me know, and we can make an evening of it. We will need to get a copy first of course (or find out if it is free online). If you already have it, all the better. Here are just a few that I have found recently:
Earthlings (I just bought the DVD) http://www.earthlings... http://www.facebook.c... Food Inc. http://www.foodincmov... Forks Over Knives http://forksoverknive... http://www.facebook.c... Food Matters http://www.foodmatter... http://www.facebook.c... King Corn http://www.kingcorn.n... Fresh (can be watched free online) http://www.freshthemo... Here is a quite lengthy list of Environmental films one could look over for ideas: http://www.grinningpl... The Wikipedia page for films about animal rights is pretty meager, but at least it has a few: http://en.wikipedia.o... |
