Join us to taste wonderful Spring oolong teas from Shiuwen Tai's Seattle shop Floating Leaves Tea. Floating Leaves Tea, Select Artisan Teas from Taiwan, China and Japan. www.floatingleaves.com.  This tasting is a great opportunity to learn more about Taiwanese oolongs, and ask questions from a knowledgeable and engaging tea purveyor.  The teas tasted will also be available for sale.

Included: Spring Baozhongs and High Mountains (for lightly oxidized Oolongs), maybe a roasted Oolong, and close the tasting with new Oriental Beauty.

Shiuwen is enjoyable to listen too---------she has a good sense of humor and loves to interact with people. As the website shows, she's been selling tea and doing tastings since 2002....................we always enjoy her time with us.

It's always fun to laugh and scratch and drink tea with Shiuwen! That Black Ali Shan was out of this world! She just opened the bag and I could smell grapes, and it only got stronger when the leaves were wet. Some of the most interesting teas that she's had yet.

I enjoyed the experience, the people, Shiuwen and her sense of humor and of course the teas. I agree with Jenn Brenner, such a great way to learn about those fabulous teas. I, too, want to thank Jan.

What an amazing, informative, and entertaining tea tasting this was, thank you Shuiwen of Floating Leaves, and Jan for use of her backyard! I can't wait to try my new teas, and look forward to visiting Floating Leaves next time I am in Seattle.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
