Warehouse Excursion June 14th from 10:45-5:30 AM (1 model with 7, 2 with 14, 3 with 21) with Katie

Exclusive access to my warehouse at the Historic Distillery Commons in Louisville Kentucky for $99.00. Special Note you are competing with people from Cincinnati and others outside of meetup for access so available spots might not be accurate.  We sold out last time so my advice would be to book as soon as possible.

In this massive space you will have access to rare natural light scenarios that are impossible to find anywhere else. This is portfolio building opportunity that will gain you access to this once-in-a-life-time event. This 6 hour access will help your practice your skills and take your photography to the next level. Get a chance to create images that will improve your portfolio give you the extra confidence to expand your creativity.

There will be a model release for each participant so you are free to use images for your personal or professional portfolio's.

Model to student ratio is high. Limited member spaces are available for each day. 7 photographers - 1 models, 6 hours of freedom at a amazing space (1 model with 7, 2 models with 14, 3 models with 21) . I will also be there to help you out with advice and technical suggestions. You also will get a half an hour for lunch and 15 minutes for orientation so they are not counted in your 6 hours of access. What does this mean? A true 6 hours! That's only $16.5 per hours for access to space and model. That an amazing value!

I have over 7000 hours of training experience so I will be around to help those who need some tips and tricks. I have been teaching classes before in the space but this is first time I am opening up to others to shoot in for their own personal portfolios. Check out this link to see the ad for that class we did last year and check out some of my work. michael Zero (this is ad for last year and not this current offering but gives you an idea)

Here are the following Highlights which some of these can be seen in the photo section.

Some behind the scenes images from last workshop in this space.

Stairwell has tons of character and is made of worn metal with exposed air/water pipes, electrical, with old fashion lights and other details from the past flanked by a bank of very large old factory windows. Stairwell is 3 stories high with great natural light that is soften by the windows.

Main Factory Floor is massive and has original brick walls with concrete floor, 30 foot arched ceilings supported by the original gray/worn rusted steel columns. Two points of interest in this room are the large original factory windows on the south side. North side has a old green metal door with lots of character that can be opened to bring light into that area. Small and interesting details are also in this room. Light in this room can go from very bright to very dark so some interesting light to play with.

Vertical Windows Room room is very unique as it was an addition added onto the space. It has a very different look but its my personal favorite. 30 foot high ceilings that are truss supported with 3 windows that are truly unique. All I can say is you won’t find windows like this just any where. They are 3 feet wide and run the entire hight of the room. Amazing natural light make for endless way to shoot in this space.

Lower Vertical Window Room is right below the larger room. The difference is that the ceilings are only 8 feet high giving this room a much smaller closed in feel with more moody natural light.

Roof Top has full outdoor light with interesting spaces to shoot outdoors on the roof. Rusty metal staircase, brick walls, heating & cooling exhaust and of course the sky.

Courtyard is an outdoor space that is protected from direct sunlight with old word brick in two colors (green and white) that has tons of charter including a rusted steel door that very unique. Its an amazing space and filled with great light.

Back Stairwell is left of the lower vertical window room and while a small space its again has an amazing steel green door that is rusted and great afternoon light.

This is a unique space and one that I have enjoyed photographing in. I have placed some images in a link above for you to get an idea of the space. It will also post some images in here that I have captured from this location.

These are just the major details but with tons of time to explore you might find other interested places to shoot.

Details Model to student ratio is high. 3 reflectors will be provided, you may bring any equipment you can carry. I would advise a fast lens of 2.8 or lower as well as a wide angle. Limited member spaces are available for each day. 6 hours of freedom with a 1/2 lunch break. I will also be there to help you out with advice and technical suggestions. This class is a portfolio build
