Volunteer event photography to raise money though photography sales/donations for wounded service member programs.

This free group is for enthusiastic photographers that want to combine their love of photography with raising money for our nation's wounded service members. All profit is donated and we take no pay for the time and effort. All images are donated for non-commercial use and sold through www.portraitsforpatriots.org on SmugMug. Since most of us are not pros, and don't advertise to be, this is a safe environment to practice photography in a real-world event scenario, most of the time with a team of volunteer photographers to support your learning.

We need volunteers and events.

We are looking to work primarily with military oriented charity events where we can provide photography services that would otherwise not be provided. Helping our heroes is always a good cause but we do not want to displace professionals since we are a group of enthusiastic amateurs. If you are interested in donating your time and skills, join the group and you will be contacted as events are organized. Not every event requires a large number of photographers so we'll work to spread the events among volunteers.
