Hi Becca,

Thank you for informing us of the sexual assault in the plot. For this reason, I won't be reading the book, either.

Thanks again,
Julie-ann

Hello everyone,
I should have been back to you all much sooner but I have been so swamped at work, this is the first time I have been on my personal email in almost two weeks! Most people opted to keep the first book we chose and we shall stick with that. It was my fault for not making ure that this book was not more accessible and I apologize for that, I had no idea. I assumed that since Barnes and Noble had nominated this book as a top 10 for 2008, then it must be pretty easy to find.

**Also, another member opted not read this book because of a disturbing rape scenario set forth in the book. As something like this may bother other readers, it is your decision to read it or not. No one will blame you if you do not, but I thought I should disclose this piece of information for you all.

I look forward to seeing you all on the 12th!
Becca
