~ Dance @ the Portsmouth Pearl ~ (rescheduled from Feb 9th)

Come join us and make this

GRAND OPENING for DANCING @ the Portsmouth Pearl a night to remember!

Gary, the owner of the Pearl, has gone overboard making this place a warm and comfortably unique,  dancing venue.

A new, solid hardwood dance floor, state of the art sound system, and some fabulous appetizers will greet us as we enter this historical Portsmouth landmark.

Music by the Seacoast's favorite DJ, Lori D!

Lori mixes it up with songs from the 80's through today's top hits, and she'll gladly                                                   take your requests!

Starts @ 7:00 pm

$8. before 9:00 pm ($12. after 9)

Free appetizers while they last!

Cash bar throughout the night

WOW, What a place, and it's just waiting for us!!!

I signed up on the Seacoast Buddies meetup so my comments and Good To See You's are to those buddies. Here's a collective "GOOD TO SEE YOU!!!!!" to all my Portsmouth And Beyond...Buddies!!! Look foward to the next dance there and perhaps Lori D could bring more of her ROCK& ROLL music this time. She is or was, by the way, a DJ on 2 Classic Rock radio staions, "The Shark (102.1 or 5??) and WHEB [masked]

DJ did a great job reading the crowd , nice place, once we warmed it up we rocked the house!

The energy around the place and amoung our people was energetic. I also find it ironic that we had a dance in a former baptist church. Baptists frown on dancing, though it was a black baptist church.

Eva, I'm new to meetup group and was thinking about going but really didn't want to go alone and not know anyone. If your still looking to car pool, I'd be happy to drive. I live in Plaistow, right off rte. 495. Let me know.

Despite the appetizers, I will be planning on a light dinner prior. Looking for something inexpensive and quick (maybe the burrito place on State Street???). Ideas?

Where is the free parking? Do they have a lot?

    February 5, 2013

    • Dana O.

There's a large business parking lot a very short distance from the Pearl. If you're heading down Pearl street (very short) it will be directly if front of you across the street that's perpendicular to Pearl St. You'll have just pasted the Pearl on your right.
