ANOTHER COMEDY SHOW @ the PORTSMOUTH PEARL!

Wow, these shows are just getting funnier and funnier! Bet you're still laughing about the 6 year old evil daughter, 'hisss'.....hey, ya had to be there!

I have no idea where Mike finds these great comedians, but he tells me we'll have different ones every time,........and this time we have; Graig Murphy, Brad Mastrangelo, and Chris Cameron.

So last time you were ROFLYAO, well this time you'll be RDSODISLYAO *

GRAIG MURPHYrapidly shot to comedic fame in part due to his hilarious work on WEEI radio followed by the realization that Murphy’s comedy reaches virtually everyone in the crowd. Murphy now performs across the country with stops at some of the top rooms like The Riviera in Vegas, Comix at Foxwoods, the Comedy Connections and more. He is featured on Sirius XM Radio, and has been seen on Comcast Comedy Spotlight.

As a newcomer to the comedy scene, Graig is wowing audiences with his impressions of local sports owners and players and can keep the laughs coming with his talented wit. Come see Boston's Up and Coming Star performer.

BRAD MASTRANGELO

Since Brad Mastrangelo was first pushed on the stage from a dare in 1991, he has been in constant demand from Boston to Las Vegas.

The ultimate story teller, Brad's unique routine never fails to hit home with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The following rave reviews attest to his talent.

"Brad's high energy makes the crowd feel like they are on a carnival ride that they wish would never end" The Salem Evening News.

Steve Morse of the Boston Globe writes, "Brad's street smart humor makes everybody in the audience feel like they grew up next door to him.

Vince Longo, General Manager of the South Shore Music Theater, "It's not to often that someone grabs my attention like Brad did. He was hysterical, likable, and most importantly, clean. We can't wait to have him back."

CHRIS CAMERON

Dana, I had intended on saying hello and introducing myself though I think we have met before.
Thanks a lot for organizing this. I see some folks listed as attending that I have met before but also didn't get a chance to chat with. Hi Susan Torbitt and Karen R. Of course you may not recognize me given I don't have a pic posted; I really should trying uploading one.
I will be sure to say hello the next time which will likely be the dance on 4/27.
    Thanks again,
    Julie

Count Edgar and me on for something to eat st the Pearl. What a great idea!!!!!

    April 12, 2013

  • Diane R.

Driving from Nashua, anyone want a ride?

    April 12, 2013

  • Dana O.

Hey everyone, everytime we meet at the Pearl for shows many of us want to meet, and get something to eat beforehand. So I had an idea and just spoke with Gary, the owner of the Pearl. We discussed the thought of offering a light dinner before every show. This way we could just come to the Pearl and not bother dealing with reservations, back-and-forth commenting, etc. We could all be together to socialize as well, and not worry about hurrying for the show. Gary would even put on some great background music! Hey, a private setting! The offerings would probably be very affordable and include; soups, beverages, chips, variety of sandwiches/wraps that you order when you arrive. To start this would be exclusive to us and he would start at the next show (To be announced). However, Gary could start doing this for THIS SHOW if there is enough interest (20 or more). So I'm looking for feedback on this idea, also keep in mind that the Pearl is a sponsor of ours and wants to treat us well!

    April 12, 2013

    • wendy

I like this idea. I think it would help me to meet new people.

      April 12, 2013

    • Paul

I'd be OK with having a bite to eat there tomorrow before the show if there is enough interest.

      April 12, 2013

  • Julie F

Maria, thank you for the info :)
Wendy, I have only been on a few Meet Ups and it will be the first with this group. My experiences have been great. People are very friendly and easy to mix in and talk to. We are all in the same boat. As you go on more you'll see some of the same people and before you know it you'll be welcoming a new comer and putting their mind at ease :)
And what a great way to get started, a comedy night!
    See there!
    Julie

Oh, I see there are tables. Will I introduce myself and sit with anyone? How will I know who has room at a table? Thank you. Just a bit nervous, about not knowing anyone. Excited to meet everyone also. Wendy

    April 11, 2013

    • Dana O.

Wendy, being new you probably don't have a picture of yourself to post in your profile yet. So we have no way of recognizing you. Therefore, until you do, you'll need to introduce yourself to us. Same for you Julie. This is why we ask that everyone have a picture of themselves in their profile. So look for the Meetup signs on the tables and just come on over and ask for Maria or myself, your hosts. ......Julie's comment above is so true, so relax, you'll have a lot of fun with us!

      April 12, 2013

    • wendy

Thanks! I was bit skeptical of having a picture place on the site since it is such a public profile. (aside from my not having one to post anyway) I can definitely see the benefit though. I will introduce myself.

      1 · April 12, 2013

Please don't change any plans that you guys may have already put in place. My intent was NOT to do that, but just throw out the idea for future shows!!!

So...what is the procedure here? Do we chat a bit initially when we arrive and meet? Will we all be seated together? Just how does this work? Thank you. Wendy
