Underbelly Unplugged: Portsmouth Bad Boys is a hilarious trip back into history that features some of the bad boys of New England. As told by accused spy Silas Deane (George Hosker-Bouley) and tavern wench Olive Madbury (Sarah Shanahan) this show features some of the scandalous behavior not given during their highly successful tour. Complete with adult songs, accompanied by fiddle and guitar player Jane Grondin, this interactive vaudeville show tells some of the scandals surrounding the likes of John Paul Jones, Gov. John Wentworth, Paul Revere and Smuttynose murderer Lewis Wagner.
This is a third in the series of staged performances that have grown out of the success of the Portsmouth Underbelly Tour. Previous shows have included Love For Sale and Two Sides to Every Story. The Portsmouth Underbelly Tour will kick off this year at the end of June.
