Teaching others the basic academic theories, science and research behind positive psychology and how it can be used in daily life to bring happiness to self and others. Please note: this is not the group to elicit or sell coaching/personal development/energy or other services there are other meetups for this type of thing. This is neither the appropriate place to seek therapy or air concerns or negative emotional behavioural patterns/thoughts - this is a group to discuss the research/some practical tips will be provided as well.
My academic interest relates to entrepreneurial behaviour and cognition. I have an interest also in positive emotions, leadership, mindfulness and areas to do with applied psychology in different business contexts.
I am a member of the British Psychological Society, accredited NLP Coach and trainee psychologist. I volunteer for Action for Happiness and am interested in creating a local group to promote the science behing wellbeing.
