It is becoming painfully clear that the climate chaos is upon us. And even if it weren't, we are running out of the substance that has fueled this catastrophe, cheap crude oil and natural gas. This group will be a think tank for ideas and a clearing house for information. The whole problem demands strong local communities as part of the solution. We will meet and discuss coping skills, sustainable practices, clean and green energy, and the prognosis for the future. We may also do practical things such as creating community gardens, helping each other develop alternative energy and transportation, and holding re-skilling workshops to learn practical skills for the post-carbon age. This issue is at least as important as any current political crisis. Let's try to figure it out together.

"I have been interested in issues of peak oil, and post carbon living for years. I have a great interest in reskilling. I'd love to network with others who think the same. I 'm a dialysis nurse working for Fresenius. I moved here 5 yrs ago from LA."

"I live on a 350 acre intentional community outside of Sebastopol. I have left my previous life in search of living more sustainably, and my path has brought me here. I have my Permaculture cert and am currently looking to reskill in various ways."
