How did you find out about peak oil?

Via the Ecol-Econ list out of University of Colorado, 1996 - 2004, featuring Jay Hanson among other posters.

How did you learn about our MeetUp?

Via Jeff Berg at meetings with the Coalition for a Green Economy & some Post-Carbon events, thanks Jeff!

What are you doing to prepare for peak oil?

Thermal retrofit of houses, examining best methods of doing so - a course with Local 27, home inspection & code courses; Danny Harvey's course on Energy. Integrating peak oil with climate activism. Purchased Robert Newman's "History of Oil".

Introduction

I'm a carpenter and climate activist. Outside of renovating and home inspections I write letters to politicians and media on climate, energy, and human rights issues. I'm very glad that Post Carbon Toronto is here.
