This workshop will look at examples of how people are consciously choosing to create age focused, senior friendly neighborhoods that support a high quality of life as we grow older. The workshop will address
the "cohousing" phenomenon which is currently sweeping the nation. Attendees will also learn about a new age-focused cohousing community forming in Clarksburg, MD.

Jack Wilbern, architect and developer partner of Blueberry Hill Cohousing in
Vienna, VA, and a Principal Partner in Cohousing Collaborative, LLC will lead a site tour of that cohousing community prior to the workshop. He will also be available to answer questions about the new Clarksburg, MD site.
