Describe your perfect ride.

The perfect ride starts in warm sunshine in the morning as I head out to a new destination through the country side or mountains. The ride is quiet with little to no traffic; all you hear are the sounds of nature and smell the flowers and grasses along the way. Midway the stop for lunch is along a river or lake where you can stand in the cool water giving your feet a break. After lunch is the start of a massive climb to some mind blowing vista where you take it all in before the 27 mile downhill on mountain switchbacks to your final destination 100+ miles from the start. The ride ends with a beautiful sunset where you sit with a cold beer, exhausted and fulfilled.

What type of bike do you ride?

I have a 2000 Serotta Legend Ti, with DuraAce and Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR wheels.

Are you willing to wear a helmet and bring a spare tube, a pump and water each time you ride?

Of course.

What pace do you prefer?

No answer yet

Bicycling is my number one favorite way to get exercise & explore the great outdoors. I'm a solid B/BB rider, a decent climber, and a maniac on the big downhills.
