Want literary discussion of the HP series and related literary issues? Come this month and talk about whether you'd be interested in a monthly discussion of a pre-selected HP chapter (and if so, at the regular meet-up, or a separate one?).

Talk by Lorrie at 3 PM: "Snape is the Story, Hermione the Reader." A large portion of HP-based fanfiction features Snape and Hermione together, romantically or otherwise. Why? This talk argues that it's because the author created them to work together, communicate via hidden messages, and understand one another, which was vital for the two most important allies in Harry's efforts to fulfill the missions Dumbledore set for him.
