I play mandolin mostly down here in the San Diego area. I have heard you'all were cookin' up here and thought I might see when you get together and join you some time.
It was either Cotton Fields or Freight Train. And that's when I got my first guitar (my dad found two for $5 at a resale shop).
I prefer to play and sing : ) and sing, but enjoy listening too.
It's a nice group.
Welcome Carol! At the moment, we post an open mic at Bird Rock Coffee House, the first and third Sunday of the month—I hope you'll check it out! We may have a jam coming up soon that you may enjoy and soon I'll be posting meet-ups at Crown Point. Hope to see you soon! :)
Carol, It would be great if you could check out the guzheng group sometime... There's one this weekend. Don
Hi, Carol, We missed seeing you last night. We look forward to meeting you...hope you can make it this coming week! feel free to email us back, we'd love to hear from you too. If you're a musician, what kind of music do you play?
Welcome to open mic meetup, Carol, it is so good to have you. hopefully you can come to our show tomorrow! We have a lot of fun, and it is a friendly environment.
Hi Carol, I'm really looking forward to jamming with you again in the New Year..... and this seems like a really great group of musicians.
Carol - it was wonderful having you with us last night. You play very well! I love having the added sound of the mandolin. I was also amazed at how you seemed to have all of the chords memorized because you weren't referring to the sheet music that much. How do you do it? my number is [masked], please keep in touch.
Welcome, Carol! This is great group of players who are very friendly to work with. I look forward to getting to know you!
