Welcome Power Couples!

As I was planning the start up of this group, I tried many words to describe how this group should be portrayed. The image, the values, and I thought, I have to be careful not to give the wrong impression about this all around healthy and down to earth group.

Power Couples came up. Why Power Couples? We are not celebraties, nor politicians, etc. Hey, but we are. We celebrate our success as a couple. We grow together to become healthy and loving couples. Whether you are just starting a relationship or you have been married for many years, everyday takes working together to become a Power Couple, one unit.

I welcome all heterosexual couples in the area to join us. We will organize monthly dinners, seasonal events, and so forth. Members' suggestiones are highly appreciated.

A few ideas from our members so far:- No particular order...
- Potluck
- Games Night
- Cooking Classes for couples
- Pot - BBQ, Fondue....
- Wine Tasting Parties
- Discuss topics of interest possibly with previous research first
- A trip to Arlington Park followed by an evening at the Trackside
- Visit various organizations, i.e. charities, botanical gardens, historical venues, etc.
- Wine tour to Michigan, etc.
- Team building activities: LaserTag, Paintball, etc.
- Healthy Choices: Hiking, Birdwatching ...
- the list is still going on as we speak.....
