Steve _________________ Welcome to our first workshop, NYC Power Presenters...!!! Monday, April 27 (6pm-8pm) Would you like to be a more powerful and effective presenter? Want to use visual presentations to impact your audience and deliver your message? Want to be part of a movement to rid the planet of horrible PowerPoint presentations and save lives in the process? Come join us for this fun, informative, interactive, facilitated, 2-hour workshop on PowerPoint presentation skills, hosted by Steve Cherches (presentation coach) and our sponsors at eSlide (
www.eSlide.com). Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty as we explore ways to make our visual communication more effective and impactful. You'll walk away with a new mindset and approach to creating powerful presentations that will "WOW" your audience (or at least not put them to sleep). Space is limited to 20 attendees. RSVP needed by Sunday, April 26. Please provide your
full name in order to have access the building. (Please also be kind to your fellow group members, and only sign up if you are positive you can make it. It would be a shame for someone else to miss out on the opportunity while there are unfilled seats in the room.) No need to bring a laptop, but feel free if you want. Also feel free to bring samples of your work, and if we have time we can take a look. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Look forward to seeing you soon...!!! Really good experience (especially for the group's kick-off event). Lot's of energy, good discussion, insight, and fun. Already received some very positive feedback about the event, and people are already implementing some of the things they learned at the event.

We also filled the room after only one week of promoting the event, and we even had an attendee who was in town from California (although the event wasn't the main purpose of her visit :-)

Loved it. Learned all sorts of stuff I never really connected to powerpoint before. I mean, the most training I ever got was my professor telling me about the existence of the program then telling me I had to do a presentation in 3 weeks. I especially loved the part in the beginning where random pictures came up and each person had to do a 30 minute improvised presentation based on it. Personally I think that one should be done more often. Being able to think on your feet is a great skill to have in general

It was great. Excellent presenter. A great mix of fun, engaging, interactive activities. Fast-paced, with a lot of variety. I left there with some interesting insights and ideas. Also a really nice networking opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals. Great, convenient location and nice facility. Thank you!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
