Protecting Your Heart

An invitation to this year’s Grantchester Summer Talks. This is an opportunity to explore a variety of philosophical topics in the lovely setting of The Orchard Tea Gardens, Grantchester. ‘

Topic: Protecting Your Heart

Growing old’ is a challenge that we will all face at some time (hopefully). Developing a philosophical attitude as we grow older can help to address that challenge. This talk will develop that theme.

Speaker: Richard Edmunds

These lectures, from 10am to noon, are open to all and are free of charge. They are held in the open air in deck chairs on the lawn amongst the apple trees. They are organised by the SCHOOL OF PHILOSOPHY, CAMBRIDGE a branch of the School of Economic Science, 11 Mandeville Place, London W1U 3AJ.

I do not want to preempt the talk given by Richard, and in any case I have not heard it yet. However, you may find that this talk, and the philosophical teachings in general, may give you a new way of looking at life - one in which the apparent separate aspects of us humans into body, mind emotions etc. promoted by the modern medicine, are the inseparable aspects of one and the same Self.
