Table Top Exercise - Put you plan to the test

The "table top" exercise is used widely when planning for disaster scenarios.  This tabletop will be conducted so that you will be able to put your personal plan to the test. (Intimate information about you plan will not be shared or asked.)

This is how it works.  We start with an event, you'll will then decide to stay and shelter in place or bug out.  Depending on your choice you will then be faced with other situations that arise.  Depending on your level of preparedness certain choices may be dictated.  As the scenario plays out you'll get to see how well your plan is put together or identify gaps in your plan.

This class in scheduled on a Saturday because of its length. 4-5hrs.  We will have breaks and snacks and beverages will be provided.

Look forward to seeing you there.

A lot of time and effort were put into this table-top exercise. Making people think through a serious situation with changing variables, using a "game" and humor, was not easy. Well done, guys!

The meeting was great!! Some holes in my plans revealed, also my mental approach to certain situations were brought to light.

I at one point "threw someone under the bus" in a comment I made. Honestly, I was trying to express my passionate concern for their approach to the problems presented.....I failed miserably in my comments. So another thing I revealed in my plan was to be a more tactful teacher in my approach. In trying to save someone, in my mind, I may have discouraged them.....NOT A GOOD THING!!! Not to likely to happen again if I can help it. Damn I hate having to admit I did something poorly!!!!

Gotta say I had a good time though, with our group of preppers.

Thanks for all the preparation put into todays training!!

Well, we're hoping to make it fun as well as educational, so keep your fingers crossed. And don't be afraid to let us know what you think afterwards. We enjoy helpful, constructive criticism. :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
