America has a long and proud tradition of volunteer service irregardless of our political affiliations. Now more than ever, volunteers are renewing their commitment to helping others and making new connections that bring us closer together as families, as neighbors, as communities, and as a Nation.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals, families, and groups that have achieved a certain standard – measured by the number of hours of service over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime.

If you are volunteering join me by going to the Presidential Services website and register and be sure to put our record of service key: MCM-363327 so we can track your hours and award you for your volunteer services.

One of the great things about volunteering is there are so MANY opportunities to help others. I will give you ways you can do this anytime like the USO and making boxes of hope and love for kids wanting and waiting to be adopted.
