Operation Write Home Card Making

Lets get together again and make some cards for our military men and women serving in those locations that do not have a Bx/PX. I will make up a whole bunch of card kits as Valentine Day cards are due Dec 31st plus they always need miss you, birthday and thank you cards. I know December is a busy time with all the holiday stuff that must be done but if you could spare a few hours with me that would be wonderful.

Please bring your adhesive (no glue sticks), scissors and a snack to share. I will feed you something and as always will have a couple of choices of softdrinks and water.

If anyone has time before hand and can help me cut paper, just let me know. Putting together 70-90 kits is time consuming.

Lastly, if anyone can bring some envelopes, I would SOOOO appreciate it. They are called Invitation size and can normally be found at Staples.

It was fun, had a lot of good chit chat and laughing which is always good. Besides you always feel good doing something for others- especially the military who do so much for us.

Cards are considered A2 size and I think the the envelopes are also considered A2. Cards are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so I think the envelopes a quarter inch larger.

I have created thank you cards for the event...I have some cards that have paper on them, but could use some 'thank you' stamps if you have them, Lucinda.
