The model had an interesting body but a curious and largely unwanted sense of humour. He was to put it bluntly so dark we could have done with the spotlight facing him to provide some degree of contrast. The evening was completely disrupted by a fussy elderly woman who arrived late with with two younger friends who proceeded to talk through the entire first half. Then during the interval she was on about her Holiday in Florence. and since after two minutes I realised she knew less about Florence than I do about Ulan Bator I managed to find my EARPLUGS and did the rest of the evening in blissful silence.

I got one or two reasonable drawings of the model - but really they were all a waste of paper. I only wish my standards were low enough for my work to be noticed.
