I let the first drawn outline in orange pencil spill over into the background and defined it again in terracotta and indigo which combine to a vibrant near black.. There are final touches in actual Black to give the lowest note.
I think the prow of the boat needs to be more metallic rusty and crude since the whole tenor of the picture and caption are about exile and diaspora in the industrial age

10 minutes walk from Chalk Farm or Camden tube stations.
We often go to the nearby pub afterwards to have a drink, chat & look at drawings.
Please bring your own drawing materials and paper/pads.We have boards, easels, tables, chairs. Large sheets of cartridge paper are for sale. We do a mixture of long and short poses.
